In this one Aliya painted how they’d celebrate their first New Year together
Was it when Aliya was supposed to go to Croatia for the New Year?
Exactly, you are right! Aliya was trying to imagine what kind of a celebration there will be
In the end the celebration was moved to Belgrade, where they had a pretty great time

In the next one they are celebrating their first anniversary together with a cake

Since Aliya and Ante are from different cultures, Aliya was painting them in each others traditional clothes to picture how both of their cultures blend together

It’s a Croatian tradition, that a Croatian flag is carried during the wedding. And since Aliya is from Kazakhstan, they also have Kazakhstani flag along with Croatian flag
It’s so great!
